Tricia entered family law practice with a philosophy of keeping family and finances as intact as possible when representing clients. However, while protecting their rights and preparing them for litigation, she found she was teaching them how to be, and stay, combative.
Tricia started Modern Solutions because she believes there is a better way to resolve family disputes without excessive litigation, through the use of mediation.
Tricia has a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida and a JD from Stetson University College of Law. After eight years as an Assistant State Attorney she opened her own Family Law Practice. She currently owns Modern Solutions, LLC a Divorce Mediation practice offering mediation and document preparation services to divorcing couples in the St. Petersburg, Bradenton and Sarasota areas. Her knowledge of the legal and psychological issues of divorce provides a compassionate perspective and keen vision for issues that might otherwise be overlooked. She successfully helps couples navigate their divorce and assists them in reaching agreements that fit their family’s unique needs and will serve as a guide for their future.
Fee Schedule
Mediation: $200 per hour, per couple
Drafting Marital Settlement Agreement: $350
Drafting Parenting Plan and Preparing Child Support Guidelines: $350
Preparing other Required Documents for your Judicial Circuit for filing a Dissolution of Marriage action: $350
