The question “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” commonly haunts people living in dead-end and high-conflict marriages.  There are no easy answers.  Sometimes people say they are staying for the kids, but often this is just a cover-up (conscious or unconscious) for some other underlying motivation.

Finally, if you want our “Should I Stay OR Should I Go?  Questions for Reflection” send an email to elinor@AFriendlyDivorce.com.  These questions will help you reflect on your current relationship.  But, before you sit down with pad and paper and answer the questions it might be helpful to make a list of the factors that are driving you to question the future of your marriage.  And, make a list of the good things too.  In other words, what does this marriage give you that you would not have otherwise?
