Keith is a Collaborative Attorney, a Family and Circuit Civil mediator certified by the Supreme Court of Florida, an Arbitrator qualified by the Florida Supreme Court, and an Educator-at-Law. Keith combines his 30 years of litigation, mediation, and training experience to find ways to bring peace to your life. He basically considers himself a peacemaker helping families with new beginnings; with their new “happily ever after”. With his vast experience and knowledge, he is easily able to focus the settlement discussions and provide practical solutions. Keith knows how to break down resistance, find common ground, and keep you focused. Keith helps you with essential listening and questioning skills. He offers you patient, individual attention because you are struggling with the emotional weight of your legal problems.

Keith has created the “Think Outside the Court” Divorce Mediation Process to provide you an alternative to the traditional “court” divorce that can be used to resolve parenting, child support, and alimony matters. Keith’s experience serving thousands of people going through a divorce for almost 25 years will help you navigate the divorce process as well. With Keith’s mediation process, flat fees and payment plans are available.

Keith has earned the respect of the local judiciary, his clients, and the legal community because of his sensitive approach, creativity, and dedication to his clients. Keith has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell (less than 15% of all lawyers are awarded this distinction) and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters. In fact, the Lee County Association of Family Law Professionals awarded Keith the 2015 Hugh E. Starnes “Think Outside the Box” award for leadership, critical thinking, innovation, and dedication to non-adversarial practice.

Keith is also an Adjunct Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida Southwestern State College, teaching Alternative Dispute Resolution, Elder Law, Law Office Management, Legal Research & Writing, and Comparative Criminal Justice.
