Why Katie filed for Divorce

In the latest celebrity news, the Huffington Post has posted an article titled “Tom Cruise Admits Katie Holmes Divorced Him To Protect Suri From Scientology.”  I dont know Katie or Tom. But, I know divorce. And, I can tell you that Katie Holmes did not divorce Tom Cruise to protect Suri from Scientology.  If Scientology was a factor in their divorce, its probably much more accurate to say that she filed for divorce because she felt she (and Suri) were taking a back seat to Tom’s Scientology.  Twenty years in the divorce business has taught me that under every divorce someone feels unappreciated.   Take a look at the article and let me know what you think.  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/08/tom-cruise-katie-holmes-protect-suri-scientology_n_4240715.html?ir=Divorce
